In-person location ENG 027  (Engineering Lecture Hall)

Please RSVP below, then add the event to your calendar

Online sign-in will be provided to all registered participants and will be posted closer to the day of the event.

Our presenters are:

Maja Tokic, Campus Planner, Facilities Management

John Schaible, Emergency Manager, Campus Emergency Services

Stephanie Lazarus, ADA Coordinator, Accessibility & Disability Services

John Schaible, Emergency Manager, Campus Emergency Services

Current/planned projects will be discussed and campus members (especially those with disabilities) are encouraged to share ideas, some may inform the proposal process for UMBC's participation with the AccessMD Program. The presentation goes well beyond that program - and ideas from the lived experience of people with disabilities are especially important to this event.

This event is open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.

UMBC is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive environment for all.  Mask use is welcome. Captioning is available, ASL is available upon request.  Accessible seating is within the presentation space along with a variety of video displays for ease of viewing.  For additional inquiries about access or accommodation, please email slazar@umbc.edu with "Facilities Accessibility Event" in the subject line.
