Description

This workshop provides an introduction to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and practical guidance for working with ADS/SDS. It will also cover accessible teaching practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and strategies for creating inclusive course plans.. Participants will learn about:

  • An overview of SDS services and procedures

  • Key ADA requirements and compliance standards

  • Best practices for accessibility and inclusion in educational and workplace settings

  • Principles of Universal Design to create environments that support all individuals

  • Strategies for effective collaboration with ADS/SDS offices
