Description
This workshop provides an introduction to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and practical guidance for working with ADS/SDS. It will also cover accessible teaching practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and strategies for creating inclusive course plans.. Participants will learn about:
An overview of SDS services and procedures
Key ADA requirements and compliance standards
Best practices for accessibility and inclusion in educational and workplace settings
Principles of Universal Design to create environments that support all individuals
Strategies for effective collaboration with ADS/SDS offices
